陈小锋,研究员、博士生导师、黄山学者特聘教授。入选安徽省第十一批高层次人才项目。博士毕业于美国弗吉尼亚理工大学,先后在美国弗吉尼亚理工大学、美国弗吉尼亚大学任职。之前分别在南开大学、西南科技大学获得硕士和学士学位。曾就职于华为公司5年有余,任无线研究工程师。在国际知名期刊《SIAM Journal on Applied Dynamical Systems》、《SIAM Journal on Discrete Mathematics》、《Advances in Applied Mathematics》、《Bulletin of Mathematical Biology》、《Journal of Algebraic Combinatorics》、《Discrete Mathematics》、《Electronic Journal of Combinatorics》、《Chaos》、《Linear Algebra and its Applications》等已发表论文10余篇,独立出版通信技术专著1部(已重印4次),作为发明人有40余项中国(约20)、美国(约15)、欧盟(约10)等已授权发明专利,多项专利被4G移动通信系统标准和产品采用,具有很高经济价值。多次参加国际学术会议并做报告,美国数学会《数学评论》评论员及多个期刊审稿人。

Greetings! I am Xiaofeng Chen, and I usually publish academic papers under Ricky X. F. Chen. I am now a professor of the School of Mathematics, and a distinguished scholar of the Huangshan Mountain (a.k.a. Yellow Mountain) program at the Hefei University of Technology, Hefei, China. I received my PhD in Mathematics at Virginia Tech in U.S.A. under the supervision of Prof. Christian Reidys, and then worked for Virginia Tech and the University of Virginia after that. I received my M.S. and B.S. at Nankai University and SWUST, respectively. By the time I started to pursue my PhD, I had worked for the telecom company Huawei, as a wireless research engineer, for more than five years.

My research has been focusing on enumerative, algebraic combinatorics and network system sciences, as well as their applications in complex systems, communication networks, and information technologies.
