报告人简介：Pace P. Nielsen，美国杨百翰大学教授、博士生导师，2006年获得美国加州大学伯克利分校博士学位，2020年获杨百翰大学教授，主要研究方向为环论。在Israel J. Math., Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., J. Algebra., J. Pure. Appl. Algebra, Comm. Algebra等杂志上发表高质量论文60余篇，2012年获得杨百翰大学的杰出研究奖,2014年获得杰出市民奖,2020年获得杨百翰大学杰出教学奖，2016-2021担任Contributions to Algebra and Geometry，环论章节的编辑。现担任Communications in Algebra, International Electronic Journal of Algebra的编委。

报告简介：We study the equation XA-BX=I in ring theory, operator theory and linear algebra, and other branches of mathematics.
